In just a few moments, a new Miss Universe will be crowned.
This morning, November 21, 2025, the highly anticipated coronation takes place at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand.
More than 120 delegates are vying for the coveted title, hoping to succeed reigning queen Victoria Kjær Theilvig of Denmark.
During the preliminary competition held on November 19, 2025, the candidates dazzled in their evening gowns—at least 15 contestants wore creations by Filipino designers, once again showcasing Filipino artistry on the global pageant stage.

Côte d'Ivoire – Olivia Yacé
Leo Almodal brought opulence to the Miss Universe 2025 preliminaries with a golden gown worn by Miss Côte d'Ivoire, Olivia Yacé.
The design glowed in a rich yellow-gold hue, fully adorned with sparkling beads and crystals for a radiant finish.

Cayman Islands – Tahiti Seymour
Rian Fernandez designed a gown in radiant, sunlit hues for Miss Universe Cayman Islands, Tahiti Moorea Seymour—paying tribute to the island’s iconic sunset.
Tahiti shared in an Instagram post: "This gown carries the colors of a Cayman Islands sunset — the same warm hues that watched me grow, dream, and rise.
"Thank you, @rianfernandez888, for weaving my island’s soul into every stitch. Wearing this felt like stepping into a memory and a future at the same time.
"Miss Universe has transformed me in ways deeper than I expected — softening me where I needed grace and strengthening me where I needed courage.
"And just like the sunset, I am learning to shine boldly… even as I evolve into something new."

DENMARK – Monique Sonne
Miss Universe Denmark 2025, Monique Sonne, exudes elegance and confidence on the Miss Universe stage in a gown that reflects Scandinavian sophistication and timeless allure.
Her gown was designed by Ryan Ablaza Uson.

EGYPT – Sabrina Erian
Sabrina Erian of Egypt graced the Miss Universe 2025 preliminary competition in a deep royal blue gown by Filipino designer Chico Estiva.
In an Instagram post, Estiva described the creation as “a breathtaking vision of opulence,” highlighting its dramatic winged neckline, daring cutouts, and figure-hugging silhouette.
He added, “The skirt comes alive with intricate beadwork and embroidery while a flowy shoulder cape in dreamy chiffon completes the look that speaks of super regal fantasy and otherworldly elegance for Miss Universe Egypt @sabrinaerian for the Miss Universe Evening Gown Preliminaries.”

GREAT BRITAIN DANI LATIMER
The Miss Universe 2023 preliminary competition also saw creations from Laguna-based fashion designer Louis Pangilinan, including this golden gown worn by Great Britain's representive Dani Latimer.

HONDURAS – Alejandra Fuentes
Honduras’ Alejandra Fuentes stole the spotlight in a dramatic mermaid-style gown by Louis Pangilinan, featuring a nude base drenched in gold sequins and crystals, accented with bold blue embellishments.

Mauritius – Aurélie Alcindor
Aurélie Alcindor of Mauritius wore an asymmetrical metallic gown by Boogie Musni Rivera, a modern design that complemented the Olympian's poised presence on stage.

MALTA – JULIA CLUETT
Julia Cluett of Malta graced the Miss Universe 2025 preliminary competition in a magenta-purple gown by Filipino designer Chico Estiva.
Miss Universe Malta’s official Instagram page revealed the inspiration behind the look, writing: “Bathed in a rich magenta-purple hue inspired by Widnet il-Bahar—Malta’s national flower, the Maltese rock-centaury. Its colour is more than just beautiful—it symbolizes endurance and heritage, just as this gown carries Maltese pride into the Miss Universe Preliminary Competition.”

MOLDOVA – Mariana Ignat
Moldova’s Mariana Ignat turned heads in a striking scarlet gown by Filipino designer Louis Pangilinan.
The figure-hugging silhouette flaunted her curves, while silver embellishments along the sides created a stunning hourglass illusion.

Palestine – Nadeen Ayoub
Benj Leguiab IV crafted a striking golden yellow gown for Miss Palestine Nadeen Ayoub.
Sharing the inspiration on Instagram, he wrote: “Inspired by the sun and the phoenix, this gown is fully beaded with glass and Swarovski crystals, symbolizing strength, renewal, and the light of Palestine."

Philippines – Ahtisa Manalo
Ahtisa Manalo exuded sophistication during the Miss Universe 2025 evening gown preliminaries in Bangkok.
She wore a midnight blue Mak Tumang creation—the same designer behind Catriona Gray’s iconic Miss Universe gowns.
The gown, named "Pinctada," shimmered with sequins, crystal accents, and gilded details, while golden floral appliqués cascaded down the front and train, creating a regal and dramatic effect.

Serbia – Jelena Egorova
Miss Serbia Jelena Egorova stunned in a silver gown by Leo Almodal, lavishly embellished with thousands of hand-placed crystals and sequins that sparkled with every move.

SWEDEN – DANIELLA LUNDQVIST
Sweden's Daniella Lundqvist lit up the Miss Universe 2025 preliminary stage in a vibrant, glittering purple gown by Kenneth Barlis.
The strapless bodice featured a sweetheart neckline, visible corset-style structure, and a ruffled peplum detail that flared gracefully from the waist.

Venezuela – Stephany Abasali
Leo Almodal also designed Miss Venezuela Stephany Abasali’s evening gown—a constellation-inspired masterpiece that radiated "elegance, confidence, and power."
The gown dazzled under the lights, heavily adorned with sequins and thousands of crystals in deep blue, turquoise, and silver hues, creating a celestial effect reminiscent of a starlit sky.

USA – Audrey Eckert
Audrey Eckert, representing the USA, graced the Miss Universe 2025 preliminary stage in a custom Kenneth Barlis couture gown.
On Instagram, Kenneth revealed the gown was completed in just five days, writing: “The journey of this gown began the very moment Audrey was crowned Miss USA — and we had only five days to bring this vision to life. Five. Days. It was insane, inspiring, and absolutely unforgettable!”
