Filipino pageant enthusiasts were captivated as Ahtisa Manalo proudly showcased the richness of Filipino culture during the Miss Universe 2025 National Costume Show.
The event, held on Wednesday, November 19, at Impact Challenger Hall in Nonthaburi, Thailand, saw Ahtisa transform into a radiant "festival queen" in a stunning Mak Tumang creation.
She wore a flesh-toned Filipiniana-inspired bodice paired with a vibrant, voluminous skirt in bold hues.
Completing the ensemble was an elaborate green-and-gold headpiece and gold jewelry accented with colorful beads.

The Miss Universe Philippines team shared stunning photos of Ahtisa Manalo in her national costume, taken before she flew to Thailand for the pageant.
The caption revealed the costume’s name: “FESTEJADA: Queen of Philippine Festivals.”
This intricate design celebrated the vibrant spirit of Filipino traditions, drawing inspiration from the classic traje de mestiza and handcrafted piña fabric to honor the women who shaped history.

Its dramatic skirt, made of more than 65,000 petals, symbolized iconic festivals such as Pampanga’s Giant Lantern Festival, Pahiyas, and Panagbenga.
The full caption read: "Our Miss Universe Philippines Ahtisa Manalo steps onto the world stage carrying the heart of every Filipino celebration.
"Festejada is a reminder that our culture is not just worn — it is lived, shared, and carried with pride. From the traje de mestiza silhouette to the handcrafted piña, every detail honors the women who shaped our history.
"The skirt, built from more than 65,000 individual petals, brings together the stories of our greatest festivals — the giant lanterns of Pampanga, the colors of Pahiyas, and the blooms of Panagbenga. It is a tapestry of artistry that reflects the joy and creativity of our people."
