Ahtisa Manalo radiated grace and sophistication during the evening gown segment of Miss Universe 2025 preliminary competition on November 19 in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Philippine representative stunned in a dazzling midnight blue masterpiece by Mak Tumang—the same visionary behind Catriona Gray’s iconic winning gowns at Miss Universe 2018.
Her gown shimmered under the spotlight, adorned with sequins, crystal accents, and gilded details.
Golden floral appliqués cascaded down the front and flowed along the train, adding a regal touch to the ensemble.

Designer Mak Tumang revealed on Instagram that the gown, named “Pinctada,” drew inspiration from the Pinctada maxima, or South Sea Pearl.
He wrote, published as is: "PINCTADA — A gown born from the depths of the sea. Draped in midnight blue and gilded with gold, it draws inspiration from Pinctada maxima. The silhouette glows with sunburst-like rays, a nod to the iconic Miss Universe crown."

To finish the ensemble, Ahtisa wore refined gold pearl jewelry—earrings, a necklace, and a bracelet—crafted by Jewelmer.
She complemented the look with sleek nude heels from Jojo Bragais.
This stunning look was styled by Patty Yap.
