Like many people, Belle Mariano travels as a way to unwind after working tirelessly.
"I love traveling," she tells PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the press in an interview on May 21, 2025.
The conversation takes place at the grand launch of her new collection in collaboration with SHEIN at Ayala Malls Market! Market!
But the 23-year-old Kapamilya actress also treasures quiet moments in the comfort of her home.
She continues: "But there are days talaga na media homebody ako. And that's just fine. It's okay to get those parang moments na you get to rest and prioritize self-care."
But what does she enjoy most about traveling?
Belle answers, "Mag-OOTD at mag-picture! I feel like lahat naman yata.
"Parang sa Korea, maraming photos na naka-stuck sa drafts ko sa IG kaya lang hindi ko ma-post baka sabihin ng tao na sa Korea pa ako.
"Aside from that, immersing myself to the culture, going to temples there, trying out their food."

BELLE MARIANO: FASHION RULE
Speaking of travel OOTDs, this topic recently sparked conversation on social media when a netizen tweeted about Filipinos being "overdressed" while traveling.

For Belle, there's nothing wrong with overdressing.
She explains: "Just dress how you want to dress, like, however you want to express yourself. You know, at the end of the day it's you who's carrying the outfit.
"Parang now, It's more of like, dress whatever makes you feel confident.
"I think that's the only rule of my life. Whatever makes me feel confident, I'll dress like that."
Belle points to the red dress she’s wearing at the event as the perfect example of choosing an outfit that boosts her confidence.
"I love this dress kasi parang, it makes me feel confident, it makes me feel myself.
"And I think among all the collections, this is one of my favorites.
"Nasa category siya ng date-night. But you can also wear this for like, if gusto, magganda-gandahan."
Belle adds that having inner confidence is just as important.
"I think, one way, is to be more self-aware. Awareness na talaga.
"Being aware of who you are, being aware of your strengths, being aware of your capabilities.
"Those are the keys to achieving confidence."
BELLE MARIANO: BOOKED AND BUSY
On another note, Belle is thrilled about the influx of projects coming her way, including a complete collection in collaboration with the e-commerce platform.
She says: "I'm so happy once again that I got to style with Shein, of course.
"I get to curate outfits and express myself through these outfits.
"And I'm so thankful with Shein. I've always been someone who uses Shein talaga."
In addition to this, she'll be busy working on her upcoming film projects.
When asked for more details, Belle simply reveals that it's a family drama.
"We're gonna start to shoot... We're gonna start the shooting! I'm so excited. Hindi ako puwede [mag-share pa].
"But now, I'm really putting all my heart, all my blood, sweat, and tears, in this movie so I'm excited for it, of course.
"It's a family story, I think that's what I can say. Family story siya."
Belle also mentions teaming up again with her onscreen partner, Donny Pangilinan, for another movie.
"After that, I think we're gonna do, I think after this movie that I'm doing, we're gonna do another movie together.
"And I think it was launched last time, sinabi na ni Direk Cathy [Garcia-Sampana]. So I'm looking forward to that."
Given her current career standing, Belle feels incredibly thankful for all the blessings coming her way and hopes that her journey inspires others to chase their dreams.
"Well, I'm so happy. Ever since talaga po growing up, sobrang I feel like I was really into it. My heart is really here.
"And I'm so happy that I get to continue doing what I do. And to share, you know, my talent with people.
"And hopefully, through this, I get to inspire them. Inspire them that, you know, each and every one of us will find what's for us."
