"When I’m picking out what to wear, I always focus on comfort first, but that doesn't mean I skip on style.
"I actually pick the outfit first before anything else.
"And then, I just add whatever complements the outfit I want."

Accessorizing is key for Kobe, and he enjoys layering pieces such as necklaces, earrings, and bracelets.
However, the one accessory he never leaves out is a good watch.
He mentioned, "If I have a watch on, I feel like I don't need anything else but my outfit."
Kobe's fashion philosophy shines through in his outfit choice for the event: an all-black ensemble complemented by the G-Shock GM-700P-6A in Purple-Black.

On the brand that he has adored since childhood, he said, "I feel like it's a classic and also, it has been here for generations.
"And as a kid as well, I used to rock a lot of G-Shock and Casio watches so it's like a full circle moment being here."
Kobe, who values versatility, prefers watches that can be worn both at the beach and during a night out with friends.
He said, "As an athlete, it fits in a lot of ways. Not just for me but for a lot of athletes worldwide.
"G-Shock proves to be more for athletes because you can use it anywhere. You can be by the beach, you can be hiking, you can be working out."
