Angelica Lopez dazzled as a stunning sea goddess in her national costume for Miss International 2024.

On November 3, 2024, all 73 candidates of the 62nd edition of the Miss International pageant showcased their cultural attires in the national costume competition.
Angelica donned a breathtaking all-white ensemble, complete with a matching headdress adorned with hundreds of crystals and pearls.
This cultural masterpiece, named "Pearl of the Orient Seas," was designed by Patrick Isorena in collaboration with Shaun Prowel.
The dress drew inspiration from the Philippines' nickname and Angelica's hometown in Palawan province, a globally-renowned destination for its beautiful South Sea pearls.


ANGELICA LOPEZ: NATIONAL COSTUME DETAILS
On Instagram, Angelica posted a series of photographs from a shoot with fashion photographer Mark Neto Diaz, showcasing her in elegant national costume.
This photo shoot happened before her departure to Japan, the pageant's host country.
The caption read (published as is): "A dazzling tribute to the Filipino heritage, this extraordinary national costume symbolizes the Philippines’ rich history and unparalleled natural beauty.
"Made from thousands of meticulously placed pearls and crystals, it forms a breathtaking national costume that captures the essence of the Philippines.

Angelica also acknowledged her talented team—stylist Vhee Co, make-up artist Jerome Phokz Bognot and hairstylist Heart Abad Zafra.

Angelica is determined to achieve the Philippines' seventh Miss International crown.
Last year, Nicole Borromeo, had a third runner-up finish.
The 62nd Miss International competition will be held in Tokyo on November 12, 2024.
