Sanya Lopez surely knows how to make an entrance.
Not only did she make heads turn with her stunning looks at the GMA Gala, she also arrived in style driving her brand-new Mazda Miata MX5.

In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Sanya revealed she purchased the sleek sports car specifically "for this gala."
Sanya explained she wanted to show something beyond the glamorous OOTDs everyone expects to see in celebrity-studded events.
She said, "Hindi naman ako [usually magastos]... But now, gusto natin bigyan ng, sabi ko nga, something new sa gala.
"Kasi gusto ko na every time na may gala, may binibigay kang bago.
"Hindi yung lagi ka lang glam, sometimes, we're boyish.
"So kanina, nakita kung bakit ako naka-cocktail sa umpisa, because I want to give something new."
Sanya added, matter of factly, that she even drove the car herself to the event "nang naka-heels!"

Like her brother Jak Roberto, Sanya has always had an interest in cars. However, it was her passion for racing that inspired her to buy a sports car.
She shared, "Now, nag-venture ako sa sports car. Gusto ko mag-venture into, like, racing if I have time."
For those curious, the price of a brand-new Mazda Miata MX5 sports car ranges from PHP 2.23 million to PHP 2.45 million, according to the brand's official website.

Specifically, the black version is priced at PHP 2.4 million.

SANYA LOPEZ'S RED-CARPET LOOK
In addition to unveiling her brand-new car, Sanya wowed everyone at the GMA Gala with her stunning two-in-one ensemble.
She made her entrance in a black cocktail dress adorned with a hood and feathered skirt detail, which later transformed into a pristine white gown.
When asked about the inspiration behind her look, Sanya revealed it was a blend of "Met Gala x Drag Race."
She said, "We want to give something to new sa Gala kasi every year, parang feeling ko nag-le-level up tayo.
"So now, it's something na parang bago natin binibigay dito sa Gala."
Sanya gave credit to her glam team for her look and a special shout-out to her designer, Vincent Van Bantiling.
She enthused, "Thank you so much to my glam team, of course, kay Drew Galleguez na isa sa mga nag-isip nito, kay Erick Ragil for my hair.
"Yung make up ko rin si Drew Gallegues and, of course, I would like to thank, siyempre, si Vincent Bantiling kasi siya yung nag-design nito.
"Pero ang concept, ako and and my manager si Kuya Frank Millari."
She continued to gush about Drew, saying, "Kasi during the interviews, since madalian na lahat... all the artists ay kailangan na sa loob, nahiya ako na hindi ko na-mention yung mismong glam team ko, pero siya talaga yung utak nito.
"So, thank you so much, Drew, and I'm really sorry if kanina nagmamadali. Siguro pag tayo nagmamadali, nagpa-panic na tayo.
"Ang dami na pumapasok sa atin. Ang priority natin ay kung sino gumawa, ano nangyari, pero siya talaga yung utak."
