Marian Rivera proudly unveils her first-ever personally designed jewelry—a dream turned reality,
On Wednesday, November 29, 2023, Marian's eight-piece collection, a result of her collaboration with Tessera, was launched at Cerveseria in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
Marian was bursting with excitement when she told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), "Well, super love ko talaga mga jewelry.
"And then, actually, last year, kapag talaga kami nag-uusap about this project, di talaga matuluy-tuloy.
"So finally, sabi ko, ituloy na natin."

Diamonds may come with a hefty price tag, but according to Marian, they are worthwhile investments.
"Wala... walang talo sa jewelry. Anything. Pag nandiyan iyan, inipon mo iyan, anumang mangyari sa iyo, pwede mong, alam mo yun, maging pera ang jewelry.
"Alam nating lahat iyan. Good investment naman talaga ang diamond."
MARIAN RIVERA: DESIGNING JEWELRY
Marian revealed that it took a year to complete the entire collection.
She expressed her gratitude to Tessera for giving her the creative freedom.
And given her love for all things floral, it's no surprise that the theme for her inaugural collection revolves around flowers.
She said, "Nakakatawa... yung mga collection, kasi binigyan nila ako ng, 'Ikaw na mag-design,' sabi nila sa akin. 'Anong gusto mo?'
"Sabi ko, 'Siguro kung ako talaga, e, i-represent ko is flower.'
"Kasi mahilig talaga ako sa mga bulaklak. So kung mapansin niyo, yung collection talaga, it's about flower talaga."
Marian, however, steered clear of intricate design details.
She noted, "Even sa hikaw kasi kung mapapansin niyo, lahat nang ginawa ko, very... stud lang. Wala akong mga dangling."
Her major considerations were the gems and precious metals to be used.
"Matagal-tagal din kasi maarte ako dun sa mga bato. Sabi ko, gusto ko maputi. Gusto ko buo [yung stones].
"At saka nagdiskusiyon din kami sa color if yellow gold ba siya? Or rose gold? Or alam mo yun, parang mga ganung mga colors.
"So nag-decide ako na yellow gold na lang. Tapos parang mas gusto ko yung yellow gold kesa sa white gold."
In addition to the design elements, Marian shared that she had her daughter, Zia, in mind while designing one of the three-piece sets in her collection.
"That one [neacklace] na very simple lang, as in 0.7-carat lang. Tapos parang heart shaped siya. Tapos ito yung parang tulip yung design niya."
She added, "Actually, for Zia nga ito, e, kasi gandang-ganda talaga ako.
"Kahit na sabihin mo sobrang simple lang, doon talaga din... isa sa mga nasabi ko na ang ganda para sa akin."
MARIAN RIVERA X TESSERA: DETAILS AND PRICE LIST
Marian's jewelry collection consists of three sets, each comprising a pair of earrings, a necklace, and a bracelet.
The first Lilac set is adorned with FG (color) and VS (clarity) diamonds.
The average carat weight ranges from 0.13 to 0.21, with 0.80 TCW for every individual piece.
These exquisite diamonds are meticulously mounted on 18K gold settings.
The necklace carries a price tag of PHP165,000, while the bracelet is priced at PHP107,000.
Additionally, the earrings are available for PHP177,120.
The second Lilac set features more FG-VS diamonds, and is also set in 18K gold.
The necklace has diamonds with 7.8 TCW, and each diamond has an average carat weight of 0.18.
The bracelet has diamonds with 2.20 TCW, each diamond has an average carat weight of 0.18.
The necklace is priced at PHP933,583, while the bracelet from this set is available for PHP261,730.
The Tulip set features a necklace, bracelet, and earrings, all embellished with diamonds boasting an average carat weight of 0.50.
The diamonds are of DEF color grade and VS-SI clarity, all set in 18K yellow gold.
The necklace from this Tulip set is priced at PHP119,000; the bracelet is available for PHP133,000; the earrings carry a price tag of PHP203,000.
