Nicole Borromeo's ethereal grace radiated as she graced the stage during the evening gown portion of the grand coronation of Miss International 2023.
The prestigious beauty pageant has just concluded today, Thursday, October 26, 2023, at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan.
Nicole secured her spot among the Top 15 semi-finalists in the competition in a stunning bespoke sky-blue gown created by Furne One, a renowned Filipino fashion designer based in Dubai.
In a recent Instagram post, Binibining Pilipinas' official account shared a collection of photos from Nicole's pre-pageant photoshoot, along with the gown's intricate details.
According to the post, the designer found inspiration in the "Majestic Magindara" for the creation of the gown known as "Bantay Tubig."
The caption read: "Known as the guardian of the seas and the visayan counterpart of Sirens. Dubai-based designer and Global Pinoy FURNE AMATO weaves a romantic fairytale that embody both the maiden allure, and fierce feminine rage of these denizens of the deep.
"The silhouette maintains the sleek streamline forms of these aquatic muses, and the details mimic the bioluminescence of aquatic life, mesmerizing and mysterious.
"A mix of mesh net crystals, and Egyptian stones adds texture and dimension to the overall composition, and the translucent fringe finish creates the illusion of fins."

Earlier in the competition, Nicole presented her national costume, which was designed by Axel Que.
The official Instagram account of Binibining Pilipinas also offered a detailed glimpse of Nicole's national costume.
As indicated in the post, Nicole's national costume drew its inspiration from the "Swaki," which is the sea urchin.
The caption read: "This national costume embodies the mesmerizing allure of the sea urchin/uni, a culinary treasure cherished by the Philippines and Japan.
"Hand-sewn sequins, reminiscent of Yayoi Kusama's iconic polka dots, create a breathtaking masterpiece that captures a shared passion for gastronomy and coastal way of life."

Both photos were captured by Steven Pascua and styled by Edward James Castro.
Makeup was skillfully done by Nicko Dela Peña, and hair was expertly crafted by Nino John Solis Wesley Jay.
The set design was the work of Nyra Gebilaguin-Lagare, and the location was Nest Workspace.
