Matatandaang bahagi ito ng naging kontrobersiyal niyang OOTD bilang coach ng Gilas Pilipinas sa ginanap na 2023 FIBA World Cup last August dito sa ating bansa.

Ang price tag ng coat ay nasa PHP128,000.

Sa Instagram, nag-post siya kahapon, October 11, 2023, ng larawan ng kanyang coat na nasa glass case.
Ang caption niya: “Thank you @fiba Secretary General Andreas Zagklis for the warm welcome to the House of Basketball.
“Was asked by FIBA Foundation’s Head Curator Miguel Font to donate some personal items I’ve been wearing through the qualifying windows last year until the WC this year.
“What an honor to see my coat displayed at the FIBA Museum!”
Kasamang naka-display ng suit sa FIBA museum ang blue Gilas jersey at actual photo niya na suot ang coat.
Samantala, isa ring life coach si Chot kaya normal sa kanya ang magsuot ng formal attire.
Sa isang interview, sinagot niya ang mga nag-comment sa kanyang Thom Browne OOTD, “So while everybody is sleeping, I am delivering motivational speeches to private companies and various organizations. Wherever I am, even during our recent training in Europe, I still work.
“I work hard. I think it’s just fair that I somehow reward myself.”
