Glaiza de Castro exuded effortless elegance at the GMA Gala 2023 held on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at the grand ballroom of the Manila Marriott Hotel in Pasay City.
Clad in a muted green gown that featured a fitted bodice and a high slit on its skirt, the Drama Royalty shared in an exclusive interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) that she aimed for a "simple lang but sophisticated" look for the glamorous event.

Glaiza revealed her desire to channel Vivienne Westwood's aesthetic for this red-carpet ensemble.
She said, "Well, big influence sa akin pagdating sa gown si Vivian Westwood. Hence, the corset and the, you know, this bit [slit] here."
Glaiza's vision came to fruition, thanks to the collaborative efforts of her stylist, Daryl Maat, and fashion designer, Joe San Antonio.
To elevate her look even further, Glaiza wore striking make-up and jewelry pieces that adorned her neck, complementing her beautifully curled hair.
“Kasi very plain lang iyong gown ko, so dinaan ko naman sa mga jewelry [from] LVNA by Drake Dustin,” said the Kapuso actress.
The necklace alone held such an astounding value that Glaiza jokingly mentioned, “Makakabili ka na ng ilang bahay sa necklace na ito.”
She laughingly added, “Bawal mawala!”
"Bawat beso, check ako nang check. Okay pa naman siya, andiyan pa siya!"
The necklace, named The Midnight Pink Tears of Kylie, can be found on the website of the jewelry business, with a price tag of PHP37,859,000.
This is the same necklace that former beauty queen Kylie Verzosa wore at the Canne Film Festival in May 2023.
Meanwhile, theflower-designed minaudière from Bling&Co. enhanced the radiance of Glaiza throughout the night with its dazzling stones.
It is called "Florentine," which is available on the brand's official website for PHP 4,500.
Glaiza completed her gala attire with a stunning pair of Amina Muaddi "Julia" spiked sandals, adding a touch of edgy sophistication to her overall look. A pair can be acquired for GBP1,080 or approximately PHP 75,998.57 at selfridges.com.
The credit for Glaiza's impeccable look goes to her exceptionally skilled glam team, hairstylist Joben Dinglasan and make-up artist Mark Fernandez.
