But for the second edition of GMA Gala, which was held at the Manila Marriott Hotel, the newscasters, anchors, and hosts were dressed to the nines.
Walking down the red carpet leading to the grand ballroom, they struck various poses for photographers—a refreshing change from their usual stand-uppers.
Notable personalities, like Kim Atienza and Howie Severino, effortlessly displayed their charm.
Even seasoned journalist Jessica Soho took the opportunity to talk about her outfit, something she rarely does.
“I am wearing Jot Losa, hair and makeup by Yari or Ricky Balaguer, styled by AJ Alberto… I can’t believe I am saying these. This is the first time na ginagawa ko ito,” she said, laughing.
She brought a Chanel clutch bag, and wore a pair of Manolo Blahnik shoes.

Jessica and fellow journalist Jo-Ann Maglipon, who is also the editor-in-chief of PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), had a quick chat at the hotel’s lounge lobby.
The event saw a range of stunning outfits.
Suzi Entrata donned a pink dress with elegant side cutouts, complimented by an exquisite necklace. She looked like a Barbie!
