Actress-turned-politician Lucy Torres looked gorgeous as she formally took her oath as the newly elected mayor of Ormoc City.
Lucy and her husband Congressman-elect Richard Gomez's oath-taking was held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at the Ormoc Superdome.
Lucy went twinning with her only daughter Juliana Gomez during the event and wore creations by Filipino fashion designer Lenora Luisa Cabili, the founder of local brand Filip + Inna, which is known for using indigenous weaves and local fabrics.
Lucy's pick was a powder blue-colored "saya" which was hand-embroidered with Kalachuchi flowers. She paired with a terno top made of piña fabric.

Juliana went for a kimona instead of a terno top.
Like her mom, she also wore a blue "saya" which is slightly darker than her mom's skirt. It was also embroidered with Kalachuchi flowers.
In an Instagram post on Filip + Inna's account, it was revealed that three artisans worked on Juliana's dress.
The post read: "An ethereal beauty that is @gomezjuliana [heart emoji] Salamat Julianna for wearing a custom piece - our Kimona + Saya on such a special day! [heart emoji]
"Three artisan groups were involved for this ensemble: the kimona and top layer of her tapis is piña silk with polka dots sinuksok woven by Janeth Villanueva of Kalibo Aklan, second layer of the tapis is a checkered piña silk by Elizabeth of Aklan then on the main siete cuchillos skirt is calachuchi flowers hand embroidered by Lumban artisans."
For his part, Richard looked handsome as ever in his choice of Barong Tagalog designed by Randy Ortiz.
