Julia Barretto could not hide her excitement upon seeing boyfriend Gerald Anderson's Christmas gift for her: a Rolex watch!
Gerald had Noche Buena and welcomed Christmas Day with Julia and her family. It was during that time when the Kapamilya actor gave his expensive gift to his girlfriend.
Marjorie Barretto, Julia's mom, shared Julia's reaction in a Christmas vlog uploaded on YouTube last Sunday, January 9, 2022.
"This is my first Rolex," Julia said after opening Gerald's gift.
In Marjorie's vlog, Gerald also recalled the funny moment when Julia called him while he was buying his Christmas gift for her.
He said, "Binibili ko 'yan 'tapos tumatawag siya... Sabi ko, 'Sandali, may pinipirmahan lang ako!"
Gerald didn't mention which Rolex model he got for Julia. But Julia's sister Claudia mentioned that it was made with gold and steel.
For a price range reference, a brand new classic Rolex Lady Datejust in gold and steel is currently priced at PHP489,500, according to the brand's official website.
Gerald also got each member of Julia's family a gift. He gave Julia's youngest sister Erich a huge Hello Kitty stuffed toy.
