The Miss Universe 2020 pageant has officially begun as candidates from all over the world arrive at the Seminole Hard Rock & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, in stunning outfits.
In no particular order, here are some of the standout OOTDs from the candidates' arrivals at the hotel.
THE PHILIPPINES
Philippine bet Rabiya Mateo was a sight to behold.
She looked like an angel wearing a fringed outfit made by Quezon City-based designer Yeye Pantaleon. Rabiya completed her outfit with nude-colored heels and accessories from Lvna by Drake Dustin.

Miss Panama Carmen Jaramillo had the grandest welcome upon her arrival at the hotel. She was surprised by her supporters all dressed in traditional Panamanian dress called The Pollera.
Carmen herself looked "hermosa" in her bright yellow tassel dress.

Miss Great Britain Jeanette Akua arrived ablaze in patriotic colors. Jeanette went straight to the hotel wearing a blue blazer-and-shorts combo paired with a red, white, and blue bralette top. In an Instagram post, Jeanette said her outfit is from The Lookbook UK.

Miss Australia Maria Thattil wore an outfit inspired by Melbourne, her hometown. Her printed jacket, tube top, and skirt were designed by Australian couturier Jason Grench.
In an Instagram post, she wrote, "We have an incredible density of commercial art - but the public art is testimony to the boundless creativity of our people, so much so it’s poured all over our streets. So on day one? I’m carrying all of Melbourne to Miami."
