When the country's biggest stars gather for a grand event such as the first-ever ABS-CBN Ball 2018, expect the red carpet to be a threshold of precious celebrity moments.
From kilig to wacky, from utterly glamorous to downright silly, these were the red-carpet moments we loved at the ABS-CBN Ball 2018:
Angelica Panganiban was blooming in her emerald green Michael Leyva gown.
She walked on the red carpet hand-in-hand with on-screen partner and former sweetheart Carlo Aquino.
Both were in high spirits, clearly enjoying each other's company.
And there were Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli, the couple just couldn't contain their excitement to be together for the first time at this annual grand event.
The Kapamilya actor was absolutely thrilled he shared with the world what he wanted Sarah to know: "My love, you make my whole world stop... You were the most beautiful woman last night at the ball!!"

Another first-timers at the ABS-CBN Ball and just as excited were couple Ryan Agoncillo and Judy Ann Santos.
Ryan was one of the Kapuso stars spotted at the event.
"Normally kasi, mga ganitong oras, nanonood na lang kami sa bahay," Judy Ann told the press at the media room on the night of the ball.
"It's something new for us and at the same time, date na rin naming dalawa."
Judy Ann and Ryan actually checked in with their kids Yohan, Lucho, and Luna at Makati Shangri-La where the event was held.
Before going down to join the festivities, the family followed the livestream of the goings-in in their room.
Ryan related, "[Luna] rushed me to the banyo kanina. She said, 'Your outfits are so nice!'
"Sabi ko, 'Kinoach ka ba?' She knew the word outfit, e!
"[Si Yohan naman] kilala niya yung mga bata, e. Tanong namin kanina yung love team, love team."
"Siya researcher namin," Judy Ann added.
Making her first appearance, too, at the ball was Anne Curtis, who came with her husband Erwan Heussaff.
They both looked happy, although Erwan appeared a bit ill at ease as this was his first grand ABS-CBN event.

This was the seventh ball together for Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla and as always, they were a picture of happiness.
Donny Pangilinan was a true gentleman to his date Kisses Delavin as he surprised her with a bouquet of flowers.
Edward Barber couldn't take his eyes off Maymay Entrata, whose Amato Couture gown created a buzz on social media.
Xian Lim gazing at Kim Chiu, a look of love?
For the most romantic couple of the night, our award went to Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla.
Just look at the love in their eyes.
And here were the celebrity couples who gave us both the kilig and the laughs.
