ABS-CBN's biggest and brightest, as well as upcoming, stars gather once more at the Star Magic Ball 2017.
The ball's 11th edition coincides with the talent management arm's 25th anniversary celebration.
The past weeks, Joshua Garcia, Elmo Magalona, McCoy de Leon, and more made a grand effort to ask their respective dates to the ball.
Here are some of the grandest efforts.
JOSHUA GARCIA & JULIA BARRETTO
Social media watchers were kilig to the bones when Joshua asked Julia to be his date.
The Good Son actor sought the help of a choir to serenade Julia with Ed Sheeran's latest single, "Perfect," right in her backyard.
With each choir member holding a letter, the entire message would read: "Will U Be My Date?"
As soon as Julia saw it, Joshua popped up behind her with a bouquet of red roses.
Julia's video post on Instagram has so far reached over 1.1 million views.
ELMO MAGALONA & JANELLA SALVADOR
Elmo asked Janella while they were shooting for their upcoming film My Fairy Tale Love Story.
So he managed to get help from the entire production team, not to mention a string quartet, to set up his mini-version of the Star Magic Ball.
First, the film's director told Janella that they would be rehearsing a dance scene for the debut sequence.
As Janella made her way down the stairs, the string quartet started playing Tony Bennet's classic song—and Janella's favorite—"The Way You Look tonight."
Then Elmo began singing.
Throughout it all, Janella still thought they were shooting a scene, up until Elmo brought out the card formally asking Janella to be his date at the ball.
Of course, Janella said yes!
MCCOY DE LEON & ELISSE JOSON
Three days before the ball, McCoy staged his paandar in an event attended by their fans.
He asked Elisse through an LED screen which flashed this question: "Would you be my date at the Star Magic Ball?"
INIGO PASCUAL & MARIS RACAL
A month before the ball, Iñigo tweeted a photo of Maris with the caption, "Would you please go to the Ball with me?"
The tweet reached 11,815 likes and 2,279 comments.

BAILEY MAY & YLONA GARCIA
Bailey took the simple and sweet route of giving Ylona long-stemmed red roses and her "all-time favorite" ice cream.
Ylona couldn't say no to her "favorite guy."
EDWARD BARBER & MAYMAY ENTRATA
During the press tour for their film Loving in Tandem, Edward and Maymay played the "Bawal Kiligin Challenge" during their guest appearance on the morning show Magandang Buhay.
During their exchange of pick-up lines, neither of them should show any sign of kilig.
Maymay lost the game, because as soon as Edward got on his knees to ask her out to the ball, the Pinoy Big Brother Lucky 7 winner clearly looked like she found the gesture so sweet.
It's the love team's Star Magic Ball debut tonight.
MARCO GALLO & KISSES DELAVIN
Marco did his Star Magic Ball grand gesture during their guest appearance on the late-night program Tonight With Boy Abunda.
Kisses was pleasantly surprised when Marco asked her to be his date.
She didn't give an immediate answer because she wanted to make sure that Marco "really wants" her to be his date.
After reassuring her, Kisses finally agreed.
The Star Magic Ball 2017 will be held at the Makati Shangri-La tonight, Saturday, September 30.
