This highlights the bride's final embrace to singlehood and welcome her new life as a married woman.
It is also a sexy surprise gift for the husband-to-be Vic Sotto.
StyleBible.ph had the chance to talk to celebrity stylist Jeff Galang for some behind-the-scenes scoop from Pauleen's sultry photo shoot.
He revealed that they intended to be different by conceptualizing the shoot as "dark, moody, and sophisticated but with a distinct 'voyeur' aesthetic..."
Boudoir shoots would usually have a sweet treatment and tend to be "overexposed."
Pauleen's glam team channeled the aura of former French actress in the 1950s-1960s Brigitte Bardot for the shoot.
But the Kapuso actress and bride-to-be specifically requested, "Nothing too sexy and revealing!"
Along with Jeff Galang, the glam team was made of hairstylist Jay Wee and makeup artist Mickey See.
