The Jolie household celebrates the most recent achievement of one of its members.
On May 18, 2026 (EDT), Zahara Marley Jolie, 21, graduated from Spelman College, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology.
Videos from the commencement ceremony circulated online after Zahara was introduced using the name “Zahara Marley Jolie,” notably omitting the surname “Pitt.”
According to reports by InStyle and Page six, Angelina Jolie attended the ceremony alongside Zahara’s siblings Knox, Pax, and Maddox.
Photos and clips from the graduation also showed Angelina warmly embracing Zahara after the ceremony.
The actress has previously spoken about her admiration for her daughter’s decision to attend Spelman, a historically Black liberal arts college for women based in Atlanta, Georgia.

FIRST TIME ZAHARA DROPPED "PITT" FROM HER NAME
In November 2023, a video of then-18-year-old Zahara shared by online publication Essence went viral after she introduced herself with her mother's maiden name.
As a new member of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at Spelman College, she declared, "My name is Zahara Marley Jolie.
"Coming all the way from the Golden State, in the city full of angels, Los Angeles, California... I am this line’s number seven."
Meanwhile, entertainment magazine US Weekly confirmed that Shiloh and Zahara’s younger sister, Vivienne, also decided to use "Jolie" as her last name.
This was evident when she was credited as Vivienne Jolie in the playbill for the 2024 Broadway play The Outsiders, where she worked as a production assistant under her mother Angelina's production.
Other kids Brad and Angelina also share are Maddox, 24; Pax, 22; Shiloh, 19; and Vivienne's twin brother Knox, 17.
