Ngayong araw, February 14, 2026, ipinagdiriwang ni Kris Aquino ang kanyang ika-55 na kaarawan sa gitna pa rin ng kanyang laban sa iba't ibang auto-immune diseases.
Sa Instagram, nagpaabot ng kanyang mensahe si Kris kahapon pa lamang, February 13.
Ang pinakamahalagang wish niya sa kanyang kaarawan ay ang umabot siya ng 60 years old.
Biro pa niya, nais daw niyang maggamit pareho ang senior citizen ID at ang kanya ngayong hawak na PWD (Person With Disability) ID.
Saad ni Kris: "Yet I’m so grateful to reach 55. I am now praying to reach 60 so I’ll have both a PWD (Person With Disability) and Senior Citizen’s Card.
"So many online establishments don’t accept the PWD as a valid government issued ID.
"I never learned how to drive. I only have my passport. Tomorrow I’ll answer as many questions as I can that you’ll write in the comments section."
May saliw ng awiting "Rainbow" ng South Border ang post ni Kris.
Dagdag pa niya, "I’m not allowed to have fresh flowers, but I’m allowed balloons which I’ve always loved.
"I’m not yet allowed to walk outside until 4 weeks after my stitches are removed, but I’m now able to walk unaided and seldom do I ask for my wheelchair."

KRIS AQUINO ON SON BIMB JOINING SHOWBIZ
Bilang isang ina, masaya rin si Kris na may mga nadiskubreng bagong talento ang anak na si Bimby Aquino.
Sakaling pasukin nito ang showbiz, hindi raw siya mangingialam sa career nito at ayaw niyang matawag na "mamager."
Lahad niya: "I like being a mama, I couldn’t see myself being a 'mamager.'
"Bimb is still undergoing his training including a few skills that may surprise you, and I’m leaving his career planning to someone I trust because he has integrity, a solid home life, and he and his beautiful wife cared enough to invite my son over to their home to meet their children and that reassured me that Bimb will be treated like family.
"They were also flexible about sharing Bimb with another group as far as music is concerned."
Giit pa niya: "Please use this post as your receipt. I promise that I will only make pakialam with the overall styling of my son.
"All other decisions it will be up to Bimb and his manager Titos and Tita… why?
"Because I’ll be coproducing my oncam podcast and hopefully 5 weeks after the last of my stitches are removed I’ll start producing 'immunity cells' because right now I am severely immunocompromised."

Sagot ni Kris, ang determinasyon niyang subukan ang lahat ng gamutan para lamang sa kanyang paggaling ang maituturing niyang katapangan niya na maaring sa iba ay kinakatakot nila.
Ani Kris, "My willingness to continue trying all possible treatments considering that I sometimes have had unexpected reactions that frightened all of us.
"Medicine that people have never had an allergic reaction to, I am really 'different'…
