Happy birthday, Barbie!
Barbie Forteza is ringing in her 28th birthday a little early this year, and she’s choosing to celebrate in a way that truly matters.
On July 20, days ahead of her July 31 birthday, the Kapuso star paid a visit to the Center for Health Improvement and Life Development, better known as CHILD Haus.
The foundation, which began in 2004, opened its doors as a temporary shelter for children who are battling cancer.

BARBIE CELEBRATES WITH CHILD HAUS KIDS
Photos and videos of Barbie mingling with CHILD Haus patients and staff quickly made the rounds on social media after her surprise visit.
Sparkle GMA Artist Center, Barbie’s management, shared snaps from the event with a fitting caption: “A birthday filled with purpose [sparkle emoji]
“Barbie Forteza celebrated her birthday early by sharing joy and love with the brave kids of the Child Haus Foundation—a home that provides care for children battling cancer.
“Made possible by the heartfelt efforts of her fans, the Barbienatics, the day was filled with laughter, warmth, and meaningful moments [birthday cake emoji].”
In the shared images, Barbie is seen distributing food, joining the games, and making sure every child had fun during the celebration.

PRAISED FOR KINDNESS AND HUMILITY
One of the most touching tributes came from Child Haus staff member Inday Garutay, who recounted Barbie’s visit in a TikTok post.
Despite meeting countless celebrities through the years, Inday singled out Barbie for her humility and kindness, writing in her post (published as is): “I actually super like her.
“First time Kong makita sa isang artista na 1 hour advance dumating sa oras ng event.
“She patiently waiting sa car kc wala pa ang fan club members nya na nag organize ng event.
“Before mag pila sa gift giving ang lahat, nag pila pa pic sa kanya isa isa with with video messages pa game sya sa lahat.
“Nagkamali sya ng basa, re take nya video message nya. Nung Pauwi na sila, sya pa nag alalay sa fans Nya pasakay ng car para mag kasya ang Lahat sa car nya. Super bait nya.
“To Ms. Barbie Forteza, thank you so much sa time mo at napasaya mo ang lahat kahapon sa child haus Qc. Advance happy birthday.”
Inday’s video also captured a sweet moment when the kids serenaded Barbie with Nikki Gil’s "Glowing Inside."
As she sat down to listen, she was moved to tears by their heartfelt gesture.

CELEBRATING WITH PARENTS
Days closer to her birthday, Barbie also spent an intimate dinner date with her parents, Imelda Ambas and Tony Forteza.
In a social-media post on July 22, 2025, she wrote (published as is): "uy may nakapagcelebrate [heart hands emoji]
