Like many Filipino households, Chie's family cherishes the tradition of celebrating Christmas at home.
On November 21, 2024, at the grand opening of Andrea Tetangco's new atelier at Proscenium in Rockwell, Makati City, Chie shared her Christmas plans with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
She said, "This Christmas, definitely bahay lang. The usual, I always celebrate Christmas with my family. At home. Yeah, at home lang with the dogs and everyone."
However, Chie also dreams of spending a "white Christmas" abroad with her family.
The Kapamilya star revealed, "Siguro yung gusto kong, or bucket list ko, na makapag-celebrate kami out of the country with my family."
Her chosen destination? Japan.
Why?
"If ever, sa Japan...sa Japan kasi ako ipinanganak.
"My mom and dad, they met in Japan. So I was made in Japan.... Born and made in Japan.
"Tapos matagal na yung hindi nakapunta sina mommy and daddy sa Japan. So definitely, yun yung gusto kong regalo for them."

Celebrating Christmas at home is just one of the cherished traditions Chie and her family uphold.
They observe a variety of festive traditions, especially during Noche Buena dinner on Christmas Eve.
Chie said, "Parang, parang tayo namang mga Pilipino, lahat ng trends and traditions nagagawa natin.
"Siguro ano, huwag lang mong wala talaga ang lechon. Lechon is life."
She added, "Yeah, pag Pasko, hindi nawawala yun! Or yung Lasagna ni mommy. Yun ang mga hindi nawawala... Any special occasion, kailangan may Lasagna ni mommy."
