Kyline Alcantara says that she was the first to introduce her rumored boyfriend Kobe Paras to her parents, Butch and Rowena Alcantara.
This revelation came during the announcement of Kyline and Kobe's ambassadorship for Zalora Philippines' 12.12 Christmas Sale on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Manila House in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
During the event, Kyline and Kobe participated in a fast-talk segment with attendees, where they answered questions about who introduced whom to their parents first.
Interestingly, Kyline's dad, Butch, confirmed that it was Kyline who introduced Kobe to them first.
Kyline explained, "Para sa akin, importante talaga na makilala ni Kobe yung pamilya ko at makilala ng pamilya ko si Kobe para malaman nila kung ito ba yung tama para sa akin. Ito pala yung real deal."

Following her confirmation, Kyline disclosed her plans to spend Christmas in her hometown of Bicol, celebrating with her parents and, of course, Kobe.
She said, "Ang holiday plans namin po, pupunta kami sa Bicol sa hometown ko. And dun lang kami with my family. And, hopefully, sumama si Kobe."
When asked by members of the press if she would be cooking the Christmas meal, Kyline revealed that it is Kobe who will actually be in charge of cooking.
Kyline confessed, "Si Kobe [ang magluluto], hindi po ako marunong magluto."
Kobe quipped, "Actually, ang wish ko sana magluto si Kyline."
KYLINE ALCANTARA AND KOBE PARAS: EXCHANGE GIFTs
Christmas arrived early for Kyline and Kobe as they have already begun exchanging Christmas gifts.
At the event, Kyline proudly displayed the Swarovski necklace that Kobe gave her as a Christmas present.
She said, "Si Kobe, meron siya sa aking niregalo na Swarovski necklace. The Infinity necklace. Yun yung panguna this Christmas."
Kyline didn't specify which exact necklace she received, but an infinity necklace available on Zalora is priced at PHP15,500.
For his part, Kobe said that Kyline gifted him with a Charriol bangle, and now they have matching bracelets.
The basketball star didn't specify which Charriol bracelet Kyline gave him. However, these bracelets are available on Zalora, with prices ranging from PHP8,063 to PHP24,050.
Asked about their Christmas wishes, Kyline expressed her gratitude and contentment.
Kyline said, "Christmas wish, actually I'm contented right now, so wala naman po masyado."
She mentioned that she had already received her Christmas wish—a Rolex watch.
"Rolex watch! Oo naman, pero nangyari na ngayong Pasko, nakuha ko na po."
Kobe chimed in "Gusto ko ng house and lot! Wish lang naman."
In addition to his dream home, he's been eyeing various items and adding them to his shopping cart, including basketball shoes and some clothing.
Talking to PEP, Kobe said, "I'll buy myself basketball shoes!"
During the program, he mentioned: "And for me, my personal favorite's Cos. As a man, Cos has all my sizes. And for me, it's so hard to shop online.
"Because every time I get a lot of stuff, it doesn't fit me. Bitin siya.
"So, I'm so happy Zalora has a 30-day return policy where you just give them your clothes and they give you your purchases."
They do have Christmas wishes for each other.
Beyond material things, Kyline wishes for Kobe's healing and for his dreams to come true.
She told Kobe, "Christmas wish ko sa iyo, I hope everything na nangyari in the past ay mag-heal na. And of course, lahat ng dreams mo is makamit mo, especially in basketball."
Meanwhile, Kobe wishes that Kyline be showered with blessings and have more work opportunities in the coming year.
"Christmas wish ko for Ky is for her to be healthy. And to have more work. GMA, more work. Yun lang."

What about their Christmas wishes for their families?
Kyline answered, "Sapatos for my papa. Sabi ni mama, gusto niya ng jewelry so why not? And yung mga kapatid ko, sapatos also."
Kobe said, "For me naman, my mom's in Europe right now so I won't be able to give her a Christmas gift. But for my dad, I'll give him some beverages because I know he loves his drinks. And for my kuya naman, probably some clothes 'cause he's a stylish man."
NEW ENDORSEMENT
Kyline and Kobe both said they were grateful to Zalora for choosing them as ambassadors. Kobe, notably, became the shopping app's first male ambassador.
As he put it: "I was overwhelmed, honestly... I think I was the first male that was part of the Zalora family. This was during COVID for my H&M shoot.
"So I feel super honored and blessed... So to the Zalora family, I want to thank you for having me and Kyline as your endorsers this Christmas."
Kyline is pleased to be endorsing a brand that her idol Heart Evangelista has been associated with for quite some time.
She said, "Ako po, sobrang saya ko po kasi I know Ate Heart is part of this brand and I'm such a huge fan of Ate Heart. I love her so much. I love her style. I love her personality.
"So we're one big family now."
Attending the launch were Zalora's executives, including Commercial Director Charles Plumley, CEO Aashish Midha, and Marketing Director Cris Tan.
Stars from the Sparkle GMA Artist Center were also present to celebrate Kyline and Kobe's milestone.
