Kapuso actress Joyce Ching and her non-showbiz husband Kevin Alimon have finally welcomed their first child.
On Saturday, October 26, 2024, Joyce took to Instagram to announce that she already gave birth to her baby girl, who she called "Hawhaw."
Joyce uploaded photos taken at the hospital a few moments after her childbirth.

The new mom also gave a closer look at their baby girl, although the actress has yet to reveal the child’s real name.

She captioned her post, "Our firstborn is finally here. We love you so much, our little Hawhaw. Thank you to everyone who prayed for us."
Their celebrity friends filled the comments section of Joyce's post with emojis and congratulatory messages.
Among them were Barbie Forteza, Carla Abellana, Bea Binene, Thea Tolentino, Rodjun Cruz, Inah de Belen, EA Guzman, Ruffa Mae Quinto, Rita Daniela, and Jayson Abalos.

JOYCE CHING'S PREGNANCY
Joyce first shared that she and Kevin were expecting their first child via their YouTube vlog on June 5, this year.
Their vlog showed how their day went. Joyce had a home pregnancy test (PT) on March 1, after sharing that her monthly period was already five days delayed.
However, the couple did not want to raise their hopes ahead of themselves.
Joyce reasoned, "Irregular kasi talaga ako at talagang normal sa akin na delayed ako."
Before taking the test, she and Kevin said a little prayer: "Lord, we pray na we're pregnant and it's twins."
They even prepared "temporary names" for their little one: Isabel for a girl and Seth for a boy.
Choked up in emotions, Kevin said: "Naiiyak ako. Parang nahihilo ako, Baby."
Joyce, fighting off her tears, explained, "Hindi ako makaiyak nang buo kasi faint line lang kasi, e."
Filled with hope and anticipation, Joyce resolved to take the test again first thing the next day.
"Kasi parang ang pinaka-legit or clear, yung paggising mo sa umaga. Yun yung ihi na talagang sureball, ganon," she told Kevin.
The video then cuts to Joyce updating that the second home PT result produced the same result.

confirmation from OB-GYN
For the first time in the five years they've been married, Joyce and Kevin found themselves talking to an OB-GYN to confirm the result of her pregnancy test.
Initially, the doctor said that although the chances of the Kapuso actress being with child was high, it was still too early to tell for sure.
"We're panicking," Kevin uttered while waiting for the result.
A little later, Joyce informed, "Merong faint na line so, di namin sure kung... is that a yes?
"First time namin magkaroon ng faint na line," she said giddily.
"Di ko alam anong mararamdaman ko," Kevin replied, smiling ear to ear.

It wasn't until March 15, when Joyce's ultrasound revealed the presence of a gestational sac—a fluid-filled membrane that encloses an embryo in its early developmental phase.
A week and a half later on March 26, the pair's doctor's appointment finally delivered the news they had been waiting for: "The baby is here!"
Together, they presented a copy of the ultrasound showing their little bundle of joy.
