Age is just a number for Charo Santos, as she officially completed her Philippine Air Force (PAF) reservist training.
On Instagram, the 68-year-old former ABS-CBN executive posted some photos from her graduation rites on October 19, 2024.

In the photos, Charo is seen wearing her military uniform where she received her certificate of completion alongside other reservist graduates.
She wrote in her caption (published as is): "Ako po si Charo, isa nang ganap na Philippine Air Force (PAF) Reservist!
"It’s never too late to start something new, to challenge yourself, and to keep on growing. Today marks my graduation from the PAF Reservist training—a journey that was as rewarding as it was challenging."
She added, "There were moments when I doubted myself, wondering if I could meet the demands, but I embraced every challenge, pushed forward, and found joy in each step of the process."

According to the FPJ's Batang Quiapo star, joining the military course helped her discover "a deeper sense of purpose" and renewed her "love for our country."
She also urged her followers to keep chasing their passion and face their fears as "growth is always possible."
She said: "Through this experience, I have discovered a deeper sense of purpose and a renewed love for our country.
"Spending these past few weeks alongside my fellow reservists has been an honor, and I hope my story encourages you to pursue your passions, face your fears, and keep moving forward.
"No matter where you are in life, know that growth is always possible."
Ending her post, Charo credited the people who helped and guided her to unlock her new goals in life.
"Special thanks to 1st ARCEN and Col. Florante Baterina for your leadership and guidance throughout this journey. Maraming salamat sa inyong suporta at tiwala," she stated.
