Jose Angelo Mesina of OPM band Lola Amour strikes a high note as he officially becomes a licensed doctor.
His recent accomplishment was publicized through Lola Amour's official social media pages, lauding him for his hard work and success.

The post's caption read: "OUR BOY MADE IT!!!!! EVERYONE SAY CONGRATULATIONS DOC MESINA FOR PASSING THE BOARDS!! [stethoscope emoji]"
Juxtaposed to a nostalgic childhood photo of Angelo with an overlay text of "Noon pa, gusto ko na maging doctor," is a current photo of him clad in medical scrubs.
Taking the celebration further to Instagram and Facebook stories, Lola Amour also showed a screenshot of the trumpet player's name on the list of passers of the October 2024 Physician Licensure Exam (PLE).

As the news hit the airwaves, fans flocked to the comments section, showering Angelo with congratulatory messages and praise for his ability to juggle two demanding careers.
Rise of Lola Amour
Lola Amour's commitment to their craft has created a unique space in the OPM scene, where they embrace the diverse aspirations of their members.
Apart from Angelo, the men who make up the popular local band are Pio Dumayas, Zoe Gonzales, Manu Dumayas, Jeff Abueg, Raffy Perez, David Yuhico, and Raymond King.
The octet left an unforgettable sensation with the release of their self-titled debut album in April 2024.
To celebrate the album launch, the band hosted an extravagant event at the Circuit Makati Event Grounds, followed by a sold-out show at Draft Punk in Cebu.
After a successful tour from May to July, which saw them performing their hit songs such as “Fallen,” “Maybe Maybe,” “Umiinit,” “Namimiss Ko Na,” and “Raining in Manila,” the band has remained busy.
This month, they announced they are working on new music, collaborating with producers in Malaysia to bring fresh sounds to their fans.
