Celebrity couple Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres couldn't be prouder as their only child, Juliana Gomez, has graduated with distinction from the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman.
Earning a degree in Public Administration, Juliana graduated cum laude.
On Monday, July 29, 2024, she proudly shared a photo on Instagram, donning the "Sablay," the official academic attire of the University of the Philippines, during her graduation.
In the caption, Juliana wrote, "Isang karangalan ang maging Iskolar-Atleta ng Bayan. Maraming salamat sa pagkakataon na ito, UP! Mahal na mahal kita. #Sablay2024"

The post captured Richard and Lucy beaming with pride over Juliana's accomplishment.
Juliana's boyfriend, Miguel Bautista, also attended the ceremony, standing alongside her parents to celebrate this significant milestone.
Richard fondly reminisced about Juliana's first day in school and expressed his immense pride in her achievements.
He wrote in his caption, published as is: "I vividly remember your first day in school as a young child. I drove you to your school near the house, you were in a white shirt and jeans in rubber shoes.
"Look at you now all grown up and a college graduate in Public Administration at the UP Diliman and a Cum Laude.
"Congratulations ‘day! Mom and I are so proud of you. Mom was in tears going up the stage.
"My eyes were in tears too when I went back to my seat as things sank into my head and realized how time flies so fast. Go on and make things better and beautiful."

Lucy shared her heartfelt pride in the comments section of her daughter's Instagram post.
Lucy wrote, "Seeing you last night, all grown up and graduating from U.P., brought tears to my eyes.

"You've worked so diligently and quietly, as you always do. Shine on. The best is yet to come. [emoji]"
