Star Magic turned up the summer heat with the return of the Star Magic Hot Summer Party 2024.
This second edition of the event took place at La Luz Beach Resort, in collaboration with the Municipality and Tourism Office of San Juan, Batangas.
This year's line-up featured Dalia Varde, Gabb Skribikin, Thamara Alexandria, Maxine Trinidad, Zach Guerrero, Lance Carr, Rob Blackburn, Reiven Umali, Shanaia Gomez, CJ Navato, Kaori Oinuma, Aljon Mendoza, Joao Constancia, Jameson Blake, and JM de Guzman.
(L-R) Chie Filomeno, Jake Cuenca, and Barbie Imperial served as Hot Summer Ambassadors, who shared their thoughts about the participating talents and their transformations.
STAR MAGIC HOT SUMMER 2024: PERFORMANCES
In addition to the Star Magic talents flaunting their well-toned physiques, the event brimmed with electrifying performances.
Kicking off the excitement, OPM girl group BINI dazzled in red attire, igniting the stage with the group's rendition of "Pantropiko."
The event's first batch of Star Magic talents—(L-R)Thamara Alexandria, Gabb Skirbin, Thamara Alexandria,Maxine Trinidad, and Dalia Varde—graced the runway before captivating the audience with a dance to the tune of Kristal Brimner's "Let Me Be Me."
Meanwhile, Reiven Umali mesmerized the crowd with a soulful rendition of Maki’s “Saan,” while heartthrobs Zach Guerrero, Kobie Brown, Lance Carr, and Rob Blackburn engaged in a lively newspaper dance game, with Zach emerging victorious.
Following the game, Rob Blackburn delighted the audience with the debut performance of his single “Biyernes ng Gabi,” set for official release on May 24.
Shanaia Gomez performed a remarkable version of "Slow Dancing,” while One More Chance theater actor CJ Navato stunned the crowd with his transformation and heartfelt rendition of Maki’s “Kailan?”
After their runway walk, Aljon Mendoza (3rd from R) and Kaori Oinuma (3rd from L) joined forces for a dynamic dance cover of AC Bonifacio’s "4 Myself."
Joao Constancia (third from left) and Jameson Blake (third from right) teamed up for an electrifying performance of BGYO’s “Tumitigil Ang Mundo,” impressing the audience with their stage presence.
Anjie Salvacion sizzled in her navy blue swimwear while captivating the audience with her performance of "You Didn't."
As the event drew to a close, Kobie Brown and Anji Salvacion were hailed Fan Favorite Hottie Male and Female, respectively.

Bringing the festivities to an exhilarating end, BINI ladies returned to the stage, much to the thrill of the audience, with their performance of another hit song, "Salamin, Salamin."
STAR MAGIC: FITNESS JOURNEY
The Star Magic talents also recounted their three-month fitness journeys.
Kaori saw herself as someone stronger, “For me, mas stronger na ako ngayon. I could say that mentally, physically, and emotionally,” she asserted.
For his part, Jameson was happy about his newfound confidence, enabling him to be more comfortable in his own skin.
“Siyempre this whole thing was a process, it was a journey, and I would say it’s very satisfying to finish everything,” said Jameson (2nd from R) after their performance.
He added, “Sobrang confident na ako after this hot summer challenge dahil I’ve gained more confidence in myself…I’m now able to show a bit more skin right now.
When asked about advice to his older self, he stressed the importance of consistency in all endeavors.
In his words, “Siguro consistency, kasi medyo experienced naman ako sa workout and stuff pero nahihirapan ako sa pagiging consistent.
"So I would say to my younger self or to my older version of myself na just to keep going, to be consistent sa lahat.”
Meanwhile, JM expressed hope that the Star Magic talents' fitness journey would serve as inspiration for others to embark on their own paths of self-improvement.
He said, “Puwede po kasi itong magsilbing inspirasyon para sa mga tao na gusto ng change, gusto ng pagbabago sa buhay nila, pagbabago sa lifestyle. Puwede nila itong maging anchor. Basta gustuhin, kayang gawin.”
