On December 26, 2023, the wife of the late Francis "Kiko" Magalona took to Instagram to share special moments from their family's classic yuletide feast with the whole clan.
Her caption for the post read: "Traditional Christmas Day lunch with the Magalonas [Christmas tree emoji]"
The cozy table setting featured a gathering of cousins, in-laws, and children, all immersed in the warmth of the festive atmosphere.

HOSPITAL VISIT
But the family's holiday gathering saw the presence of only four members from Pia and Kiko's brood — Nicolo, Frank, Elmo, Arkin, and Clara.
Sisters Unna Lu, Maxene Magalona, and Saab Magalona were notably absent, with Maxene sharing her solo Christmas celebration on social media.

However, Saab's absence took a different turn as she was admitted to the hospital during the holiday season.
Right after lunch, Pia and the family went to surprise Saab, who just went through a surgery after experiencing internal bleeding caused by a rare congenital condition known as Meckel's Diverticulum.
According to the National Institutes of Health, "Meckel Diverticulum is a common congenital abnormality of the small intestine caused by incomplete obliteration of the vitelline (omphalomesenteric) duct."
Filled with gratitude, the 35-year-old podcast host and mom of two wrote on Instagram, "Christmas Day visit from my family [Christmas tree emoji] I didn't expect it so it was much appreciated [emojis]
"Love to my Bacarro family too for taking good care of our babies [emoji]"
On December 21, 2023, Saab related to her fans that what they initially chalked up as "bad acid and a panic attack," escalated to lightheadedness, vomiting, passing out, and blood transfusions in the ICU.
