The last quarter of 2023 left countless Filipino fans heartbroken with the unexpected revelations of more than a handful of showbiz breakups.
But as time moves forward, so does the prospect of healing and new beginnings.
In 2024, several celebrity couples are expected to tie the knot, filling the year with sweet exchanges of vows, exquisite flowers, and joyous laughter born out of love.
Though some couples have closed a chapter, a new beginning awaits those who have found their the one.
Here are Filipino celebrities set to embark on their matrimonial journey in 2024, in a list made by PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal):
BENJAMIN ALVES AND CHELSEA ROBATO
The intimate wedding of Benjamin and Chelsea is set to happen on January 28, 2024, an event revealed by the Kapuso actor himself to PEP Troika on June 17, 2023.
The ceremony will take place at Santuario de San Antonio Parish in Makati City, with the reception happening at Grand Hyatt Manila in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig City.
Engaged since December 2022, the couple celebrated their 4th anniversary in July 2023—the same day the Filipina content creator publicly announced their wedding day.

ANGELICA PANGANIBAN AND GREGG HOMAN
Amid silent battles—including her fight against bone disease and her battle to master motherhood—Angelica Panganiban is gearing up for her wedding to fiancé Gregg Homan in early 2024.

According to a vlog dated June 3, 2023, they are currently looking for a wedding venue in the country.
Gregg said: "We were going to get married last year pero we wanted to make Bean a part of it."
"So, we are going to do it early next year. We are looking at places locally to do it, like in the country. I'm excited for it."
Angelica sad they have informed their family and friends about the wedding date, so as to allow everyone to plan ahead, especially because they have already postponed their wedding twice.
Angelica said: "Parang twice na naming dinelay yung wedding. Last year [2022] and this year [2023], dapat aalis tayo. Ilang beses naming triny mag-elope, so parang ayaw ng mundo na itago namin.
"Malakas magdasal yung mga kaibigan at ang family members namin. So ngayon, parang mukhang matutuloy na siya.
"Meron na kaming save the date, sinabi na namin siya sa mga kapamilya namin abroad para makapagtipid na sila, makapag-ipon na."
She continued, "Sa mga friends namin na sobrang busy yung schedule nila sa life, like marami silang mga commitments, inunahan na namin sila na i-save na yung araw na iyon.
“So, finally papakasalan ko na ito [points to Gregg], kasi talagang deads na deads sa akin.”
Angelica and Gregg revealed in October 2022 that they had been engaged for five months.

CATRIONA GRAY AND SAM MILBY
Former Miss Universe titleholder Catriona Gray and Replacing Chef Chico star Sam Milby are expected to exchange wedding vows in 2024.
Catriona and Sam revealed their relationship in 2020 and were engaged in 2023.
In an interview with PEP.ph on July 31, 2023, Sam shared his insights on making wedding preparations.
Like any excited couple about to tie the knot, Sam and Catriona found themselves dealing with the intricacies of wedding planning.
Sam said, "I am enjoying, but it's stressful. Cat and I realized that it's much more stressful than we expected...but, I mean, ganun talaga."

BEA ALONZO AND DOMINIC ROQUE
Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque got engaged in July 2023, but the couple is taking its time with the wedding preparations.
In an interview with PEP.ph on November 18, 2023, Bea said she was feeling a bit guilty because her work commitments usually get in the way.
Bea said: "Ayun nga, e, medyo I feel guilty na. Medyo... Hindi pa talaga kami nakakapag... hindi pa kami nakakaupo.
"Maybe, maybe a few weeks from now, makakaupo na kami para pag-usapan yung wedding.
"Talagang, I think, kailangan na talaga because medyo matagal pala mag-plan ng wedding. Kailangan palang one year before."
Bea said during the interview that, as of now, nothing is finalized yet.
However, she has been getting plenty of advice from friends.
She told PEP.ph, "We haven't decided on that yet.
"Maraming options, but then, of course, we've been talking to friends who got married, and friends who are also in the wedding industry.
"Pero wala talaga, wala pa, wala pa commitment po kung sino magha-handle.
"Actually, mas friendly thing, na parang, 'Girl, bakit hindi mo i-try dito? Girl, ganyan.'
"Tapos, mag-send sila ng mga kung anu-anong details, like, venues. Na cute talaga, kasi parang, kahit sila, involved. they're all very excited for us."

LAUREEN UY AND MIGGY CRUZ
The wedding date for the couple, Laureen and Miggy, has not been announced yet, but fans are already eagerly anticipating their matrimonial ceremony.
The fashion content creator said "yes" to her non-showbiz boyfriend, Miggy, in California in May 2023.
Not only netizens but also fellow personalities were amazed by their engagement video posted on Instagram, which was inspired by film director Wes Anderson.
Laureen and Miggy dated for six years before getting engaged.
SAMANTHA BERNARDO AND SCOTT MOORE
Miss Grand International 2020 1st runner-up Samantha Bernardo took to Instagram in May 2023 to share some snapshots from her engagement shoot with fiancé Scott Moore in Bacolod City.
The couple were clad in modern Philippine attire, with their backdrop highlighting the architectural history of the country.
Samantha and Scott publicly announced their engagement in February 2023, but their marriage date is yet to be disclosed.

KIANA VALENCIANO AND SANDRO TOLENTINO
Gary Valenciano's family is soon welcoming a new addition to their tree.
Filipina singer Kiana and her soon-to-be groom, Sandro Tolentino, have not revealed the wedding date, but Kiana has already provided a glimpse into their journey through photos taken at the bachelorette party organized by her friends in November 2023.
In August 2023, proud father Gary V. announced that the couple was engaged.
SEF CADAYONA AND NELAN VIVERO
Kapuso actor Sef Cadayona joyfully revealed his engagement to non-showbiz girlfriend Nelan Vivero on August 30, 2023, through photos posted on Instagram.
In his Instagram post, Sef put out pictures capturing the moment he proposed to Nelan.
In the caption, he said that this was his second proposal, revealing that on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2023, he very spontaneously gave her a paper ring before buying the engagement ring.
To date, Sef hasn't spilled any detail about their wedding, but they're expected to get married in 2024.

MARGIELYN DIDAL AND JOZEL MANZANARES
Filipino Olympic skateboarder Margielyn Didal, 23, is now engaged to her long-time girlfriend, Jozel Manzanares.
In her post on Instagram on February 21, 2023, Margielyn shared photos with her partner taken during the surprise proposal at Soul Sierra, a well-known wellness center in Cebu City.
The engagement coincided with the celebration of Margielyn and Jozen's eighth anniversary as a couple.

VALEEN MONTENEGRO AND RIEL MANUEL
GMA-7 actress Valeen Montenegro has been engaged to her non-showbiz boyfriend Riel Manuel for a little over a year.
Valeen's Instagram post dated November 27, 2022, showed pictures from her boyfriend's engagement proposal days before that, November 24.
At press time, the couple has not revealed any specifics about the wedding, but it is expected to happen soon.
On December 6, 2023, Valeen marked the beginning of her "bridal era" with a new pre-wedding photoshoot by Shaira Luna.

ANDREI FELIX AND PAULINE VERZOSA
Andrei Felix and Pauline Verzosa both work at CNN Philippines, with Andrei anchoring a sports news program and Pauline serving as a sports correspondent.
Andrei detailed his surprise proposal on his Instagram account. The romantic moment happened in Paris, France, on October 3, 2022.
It appears that they are taking it slow with their wedding plans because of hectic schedules. Nevertheless, they are expected to tie the knot in 2024.

VIY CORTEZ AND CONG TV
In a Facebook post November 3, 2022, Viy Cortez shared a photo displaying her engagement ring.

In the caption, she expressed with certainty that Cong is the one she will marry, saying: “Yes love! [white heart emoji] Una pa lang, alam ko na ikaw ang magiging asawa ko [white heart emoji]”.
Their engagement notwithstanding, the couple has decided to temporarily postpone wedding plans to prioritize their careers and physical preparations for the upcoming ceremony.
Viy said in an interview that they have already chosen their venue for the wedding set in 2024.
Their son Kidlat turned one in July 2022.
