Aside from finishing her studies and finding her footing in the spotlight, Cassy Legaspi, 22, has another goal: becoming like her mom, Carmina Villarroel.
To mark her mom's 48th birthday on August 17, 2023, the young Eat Bulaga! host wrote on Instagram this touching tribute to Carmina:
"People ask me what kind of woman I want to be, I respond by saying 'just like my mom' [heart emoji].
"Happy Birthday mama!"

Alongside this caption was a photo of the mother-daughter duo on a merry shopping spree.
In her birthday message, Cassy was exuberant in both her expression of gratitiude for Carmina as a loving mom and as an inspiration to others.
She shared, "Thank you for inspiring not only me, but other people as well to be kind and generous [emojis].
"I thank God every day that he blessed me with the most patient, kind, and perfect mom [emojis]."
Cassie ended her heartfelt tribute with a reaffirmation of her love for her mom: "I love you so much mama! I will always be your baby girl no matter what."

Taking to her Instagram account, Carmina thanked everyone who sent their warm birthday greetings and special treats.
This included the birthday dinner her whole family—Cassy, son Mavy Legaspi, and husband Zoren Legaspi—prepared for her.
