Marthena Jickain, the unica hija of Aiko Melendez, turned 17 on July 28, 2023.
Based on Aiko’s posts, the family had an intimate celebration at the Lemur Fine Dining—a quaint restaurant found in Horseshoe Village, Quezon City, and is known for its French Mediterranean cuisine.
Also present was Aiko’s eldest son and Marthena’s older brother Andre Yllana.

On Instagram, the actress-politician wrote: “Happy Birthday to our dearest! @jickainmarthena 17th! We love you so much mimi!!! [green heart emoji] You will always be our baby girl.”
Celebrity friends of the beautiful mother-daughter pair also dropped a message of greetings for the birthday girl.
Among them were Wendell Ramos, Anna Roces, Katrina Halili, Jennifer Sevilla, Joy Ortega, and Nikki Valdez.
But most comments were about were about the beauty of Marthena, who, according to some, is the carbon copy of her mom in the latter’s younger years.
A number of netizens found her gorgeous.
Given her looks, it will be easy for her to penetrate showbiz, but does Athena have plans of becoming an actress?
So far, the young lady has been elusive, and appears to prefer avoiding the spotlight.
Based on her Instagram account, which has only 12 posts since she started it in 2014, the young lady loves traveling.
She’s also keen on finishing her studies, and seems to be setting her sights on becoming a lawyer.
In fact, on July 8, Aiko proudly posted photos from Marthena’s completion ceremony for a course in law she took at Somerville College, a constituent college of the University of Oxford.
The proud mom's caption read:
“Congratulations on graduating! You are an achiever. You make me so proud of being your mother!” Aiko addressed her daughter. “We are all rooting for you, my dear Mimi.”
“Mama’s sleepless and tireless night over taping and shootings is all so worth it. And if Mama AIKO would have to do tons of work just to send you to all the best schools, I would, without a doubt!
“Never get tired of learning, it's a treasure!”
Aiko looked forward to what the future has in store for her daughter.
She ended her caption with: “I can proudly say soon we have a future lawyer in the family. This is just the beginning of beautiful things to come :) @jickainmarthena PS! Teary- eyed mama here.”
It seems like showbiz is not on the horizon yet for the pretty Marthena.
