One of the things that Maine Mendoza's fans look forward to this year: her MAC lipstick.
Since the Kapuso Dubsmash Queen revealed that she created her very own lipstick shade with the international makeup brand, fans couldn’t wait to get their hands on the product.
But it seems they would have to wait a bit longer for the launch.
On Instagram, MAC Philippines that they have to push it back later this year to accommodate the overwhelming feedback they have been receiving.
“We are thrilled with all the support Maine’s MAC lipstick collaboration has received.
“Due to the overwhelming feedback, we are increasing production quantities to give more customers the opportunity to purchase Maine’s MAC lipstick.
“To meet this demand, Maine’s lipstick will now launch later in 2018.”
This reaction felt reminiscent of the time MAC’s Ruby Woo lipstick shade got sold-out after Maine used it for one of her endorsements back in 2015.
Her collaboration with the brand was announced on January 19.
The Eat Bulaga! mainstay flew to the MAC headquarters in Toronto, Canada to personally create her own lippie.
