The basic rule when it comes to makeup is to look according to your age.
Celebrity makeup artist RB Chanco told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in a recent fashion event in SM Megamall, "You base makeup according to your age…you have to match every thing according..."
RB—who did Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere's makeup on the grand coronation day—underlined that as one gets older, "moisture-rich" beauty products become a must-have in her kikay kit.
It's not simply a matter of having the staples: foundation, powder, and concealer.
RB elaborated, "Foundation, moisture-rich kasi if you do thicker foundation, the lines will show. So it has to be very light…
"And then powder, not thick, it has to be loose.
"And then concealer, not cream, [but] liquid type."
At the same time, every beauty geek must embrace the art of grooming eyebrows.
RB said, "For me, kilay will make or break your makeup."
So it's better if you have it done by an expert.
"It's technical…For me, kilay should be enhanced according to your eyebrow shape and face shape."
