Olay women Janella Salvador, Pia Wurtzbach, and Charo Santos-Concio are one in saying that beauty primarily comes from confidence.

Ladies, you've heard this over and over again: "Beauty comes from within."

Forget about the biases and dictates of the society, the very first step to looking beautiful is to become confident.

To achieve that, you'll never go wrong with taking good care of your skin.

At the Olay 10 Years of #BestBeautiful Transformations event held on October 6, PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) asks Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Kapamilya actress Janella Salvador, and ABS-CBN lady boss Charo Santos their tried and tested beauty advice.

JANELLA SALVADOR

First and foremost, Janella believes that "everyone has the capacity to be at their best beautiful."

But no amount of makeup can conceal insecurity, so the Kapamilya teen actress underlines that "the only person who can do it is only you."

Her must-do beauty routine: "Never ever forget to remove your makeup when you get home."

Her "I got that from mom" beauty tip: "Kapag namamaga yung eyebags or something, she puts cucumber. And it works."

Janella is the daughter of singer Jenine Desiderio.

PIA WURTZBACH

Similarly, the reigning Miss Universe says "confidence" should be everyone's beauty staple.

"You can have the most expensive clothes, you can have the best makeup, the biggest hair, the nicest accessories, and you walked into a room.

"But if you don’t know yourself, you’re not confident, and you’re not happy, you don’t have that glow.

"People are going to notice that.

"And suddenly every thing exterior won’t matter anymore."

Pia adds that the way one carries herself is no equal to the brand and tag price of an OOTD.

"Even if on stage, I don’t necessarily have the most expensive things or the best of this and that.

"But if I walk with confidence and I know myself and I carry myself with pride, and I walk into a room and have the big smile on my face, that turns heads.

"That’s what catches people’s attention."

Her major rule to staying beautiful: "Its very important to clean your face at the end of the day, wash your face, take off all that makeup because your skin is recovering while your asleep."

Her tried and tested beauty routine: "You don’t want any thing to be on your skin except a good toner and good moisturizer. And then, trust me, when you wake up the next day, it’s like you're fresh again no matter if you’ve only had three to four hours of sleep. Trust me, it works."

NOOD KA MUNA!

Her beauty no-no: "Don’t try to copy anybody’s makeup or anybody’s face."

CHARO SANTOS

Also known for her life advice on Maalaala Mo Kaya, Ate Charo's top beauty advice is to set your own standard of beauty.

"I guess when you’re young, you’re harder on yourself because parang, madami ka pang fears, e.

"You’re defining yourself on the basis of people’s expectations of you, but then you realize, 'Hey, I can’t live life being defined by the world.'"
