Now here are their favorite perfume brands.
FRESH. The Love Me Tomorrow actress picks Viktor and Rolf’s Flowerbomb and Dolce & Gabbana’s The One.
She says, “I just like it, it’s a good balance."
She's not into anything strong because "minsan nagkakasakit ako."
"Actually, more on subtle scents that parang nakaka-fresh lang. Nothing too strong, nothing that will hurt my nose 'cause I’m actually very sensitive when it comes to that...
"I try to choose something subtle, something that makes me smell fresh. Like fresh from the banyo, fresh from showering, something like that."
Another consideration for her is the fragrance’s longevity so that she will know when to re-apply it.
FRUITY. Yassi Pressman, on the other hand, used to like strong and masculine scents.
But at the moment, the 21-year-old dancer-actress likes something "medyo parang baby, amoy baby."
"Ngayon, parang fresh lang kasi mainit e summer."
But her all-time favorite is Eclat d’Aparge by Lanvin which has fruity and floral notes coming from peach blossoms, wisteria, and green lilac, among many others.
"Siguro kasi yun ang naging first-ever luxury perfume ko dati. Sobrang favorite ko yun kaya hanggang ngayon, kahit magpalit man ako ng ibang perfume, bumabalik pa rin ako dun.”
FEMININE. ABS-CBN Sports host Janeena Chan describes her signature scent as "elegant but young."
The 23-year-old influencer considers her mood and personality when choosing a perfume brand.
Janeena says, "It really depends on my mood. Actually, something not too overpowering. I like yung mga powdery scent, I don’t know, it really depends, e…
"I’m not really like a perfume connoisseur pero I wouldn’t want to get something na hindi bagay sa personality ko.
"So nothing too strong, sweet lang."
Her favorite perfume is Olympea by Paco Rabanne.
The salted vanilla and jasmine scent make her feel like a "modern-day goddess," she says.
"I love that it’s presented so feminine and light, and parang it really just smells so elegant.”
She adds, “The packaging! I love perfumes that come in really nice bottles.
"So that one really won it for me kasi rose gold, and it has like pretty wings kasi the whole concept of Olympea was parang modern-day goddess or modern-day Aphrodite.”
LIGHT. Meanwhile, DJ Joyce Pring shares a little secret on how she picks a scent.
"Kasi yung perfumes, the smell depends on your body chemicals, e.
"So merong mga perfumes na mabango sa ibang tao pero hindi mabango sa iyo. So you have to find a perfume that mixes well when you sweat."
The perfume that goes perfectly with her sweat is Bulgari Omnia, which she has been using for four years and now considers it her signature scent.
"It’s very light but it’s mabango and long-lasting.
"And I like yung mga baby colognes. Mahilig ako sa mga light lang, ayoko nung matapang."
CLEAN. This Time star Yam Concepcion likes a fragrance that is crisp and clean, hence, she's drawn to the scent of laundry.
"Gusto ko yung amoy, ever since nung high school ako, that has been my favorite scent of all time. Parang ang linis, ang bango, fresh.”
Her favorite brands?
"Ang akin, Jo Malone ngayon, yun talaga yung favorite ko. Cologne siya e so it’s very light so okay siya pang-everyday. ‘Tsaka yung amoy niya nagla-last at ‘pag na-amoy siya parang ang sarap.”
