Over the past few years, I've become really fond of Korean hair salons.
I've always liked their cutting style, especially since I prefer the "clean boy" look as seen in those dreamy K-pop idols and actors.
Fortunately, Juno Hair, one of Korea's premium hair salon chains, is already here in the Philippines.
I first discovered Juno Hair in 2019 while in Myeongdong, South Korea.
I was eager to get a haircut during my trip to savor the K-Beauty experience, but couldn't fit it in our packed schedule.
I was tempted to visit the shop when it first opened in Clark, Pampanga, in 2023, but the three-hour drive from my place proved to be a big deterrent.
In March 2024, I tried once more to book an appointment at one of their salons in Seoul during a vacation, but their slots filled up quickly.
Lucky for me, Juno Hair has finally opened a branch in Metro Manila at The W Fifth Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

The salon had its soft opening in December 2024 and celebrated its grand opening on January 17, 2025.
Many celebrities, like actress Bela Padilla, boy groups NEW:ID and HORI7ON, have tried the salon's services.
Of course, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity and walked in for the long-awaited experience.
For full transparency, Juno Hair BGC invited PEP to try its services.
However, I opted to go the salon just like any regular customer—paying for my own haircut.
JUNO HAIR SALON: PREMIUM K-BEAUTY EXPERIENCE
Stepping into the salon felt like a VIP experience.
While they do accept walk-ins, booking an appointment in advance is highly recommended. I managed to secure a same-day slot, initially planning to get just a haircut.
Upon arrival, I checked in at the reception as required and waited in the designated area for my stylist.
Honestly, I felt a bit intimidated at first—mainly because the stylists looked like they just walked off a K-drama set! They were so polished, they could easily pass as K-idols.
The waiting area also doubles as the consultation space, where clients discuss their desired looks with their stylists.
This was the part I truly appreciated about Juno's service because it allowed me to discuss my desired look and hear the stylist's suggestions.
I was matched with Leo, who offered his expert recommendations and suggested treatments that would be ideal for me.
However, I had to decline several options due to time constraints.
I came in the evening and only needed a quick haircut for an event the next day. I couldn't commit to longer treatments.
After the consultation, I was given a robe and a key to a locker for my belongings.
The shampoo session was incredibly relaxing, and the salon assistants delivered the best head massages.
For the haircut, I felt at ease. In some salons, trying a new stylist can be nerve-wracking, but with Leo, everything went smoothly.
Finding a 'soulmate' hairstylist isn’t easy, and once you do, it’s best to hold onto them.

Interiors
The salon blends modern and cozy vibes, instantly making me feel comfortable the moment I stepped in.
Beige and white tones dominate the salon, complemented by minimalist furniture and gentle lighting.

Some of the walls showcase the salon's core values.
Overall, the whole place is clean and well-organized.

My personal favorite, the shampoo lounge that offers a refreshing mini spa experience,
