Even celebrities can have unflattering ID photos taken.
However, former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Chie Filomeno and P-Pop boy group BGYO seem to have mastered "the art of taking ID pictures."
Chie "broke the Internet" after uploading her latest passport-size ID photo on social media.
The Star Magic talent adhered to the same rules people follow when taking photos for a passport—looking straight ahead and avoiding smiling—but this time, she did it with her full makeup on.
She first shared the photo on her Facebook page last February 24, 2023, and included three women emojis in the caption.

Chie shared the same photo on her official Instagram account on Sunday, February 26, 2023. In the caption, she wrote, "So not a 2x2 [emoji]"
The former GirlTrends member received thousands of comments, reactions, and likes from netizens and even her celebrity friends.
Her Facebook post alone garnered over 233,000 reactions and more than 6,000 shares on as of Wednesday, March 1, 2023. Her Instagram post, on the other hand, has received over 90,000 likes.
In the comments section of Chie's Instagram post, fellow PBB housemate Benedix Ramos jokingly dubbed her "our lady of ID pic."
Other netizens echoed his comment.
Instagram user @pin_kee23 quipped, "Patron Saint of ID Photos pray for us. [emoji]"
Netizen @keechsaw had the same comment and wrote, "patron saint of ID [emojis] pray for us [emoji]"
Meanwhile, @heypearlas jokingly told Chie to give others a chance and said, "Mi tama na, lamang ka na nga. Tanggap na namen [emoji]"

bgyo goes viral for id photos
Aside from Chie, BGYO members Gelo Rivera, Akira Morishita, Nate Porcalla, Mikki Claver, and JL Toreliza also became a hot topic on social media because of their ID photos.
It started on February 26, 2023, after Twitter user @sakumadiku posted an ID picture and asked for verification whether the man in the photo was actually Gelo.
His post read (published as is): "this is #bgyo gelo right? t******g mukha yan san nakakabili ng 2x2 pic na ganto [emoji]"
The tweet has since gone viral with over 1.6 million views, as of March 1, 2023.
Star Music PH shared the ID photos of the other BGYO members and wrote, "@bgyo_ph school boy era was [emoji]"
In an interview with Miguel Dumaual for ABS-CBN News, BGYO revealed they had their ID photos taken for their U.S. visa.
The group was also surprised when their photos went viral on social media.
Gelo said, "Para sa U.S. visa talaga yang picture na yan. And nalaman na namin [na nagte-trend] siya nung marami nang nagta-tag sa amin.
"At saka, kahit yung nanay ko, 'Uy, Gelo! BGYO trending!' Ganyan.
"So kami, nakakatuwa kasi sa simpleng ganyan parang maraming nakaka-[appreciate]."
The group ended the interview by thanking their fans for showing their appreciation, even if it's just by liking their simple ID photos.
JL said, "Thank you, Aces!"
Gelo added, "Maraming salamat din po sa mga casuals na ina-appreciate din po yung BGYO dahil sa mga pictures po na iyan."
