ADVERTORIAL
Ayon nga sa report ng SPIN.ph, "Richard now holds the distinction of being the first athlete to represent the Philippines in four different sports—rowing, fncing, shooting, and now, volleyball."
Now in his 40s, Richard is showing everyone—young and old—how to stay active and healthy, and still be competitive.
“I exercise daily, and ensure that I get enough of the vitamins and minerals I need, especially calcium,” Richard says.
He shares that when a person hits 30, it really becomes more difficult to maintain an active lifestyle because our bones become increasingly brittle without daily calcium intake.
“Hindi lang pambabae ang calcium, contrary to what people think. Guys also need calcium to stay active.”
Nagpapasalamat si Goma sa Del Monte Bone Smart—isang drink na 100% pineapple juice drink fortified with calcium—for making calcium delicious enough to drink every day.
Ang calcium sa drink na ito ay equivalent to two glasses of milk, “Kasi alam mo ang calcium, ang hirap niyan araw arawin. That’s why I don’t get enough of it every day.
Goma’s love for sports has rubbed off on his beautiful wife as well.
Lucy Torres-Gomez, Representative-elect of the 4th District of Leyte, says that her active husband inspires her to keep fit as well.
“We need strong bones to keep up with life and our responsibilities,” Lucy says. “And I’m thankful for Del Monte Bone Smart because it’s great for someone like me who is active and always on-the-go. Now there’s nothing stopping me from drinking calcium every day.”
Sometimes they would even accompany each other to their practices and trainings.
“We always strive to make time for exercise despite our busy schedules,” Lucy shares.
Ganoon rin naman si Goma.
Even after a hectic day of doing public appearances and tapings, kabilang na rito ang kanyang role sa defunct TV5 tawaserye na Madam Chairman, kung saan nakatrabaho niya ang bida at dating kasintahan na si Megastar Sharon Cuneta, Richard looks forward to his volleyball practices at night.
Si Lucy naman finds time between her district visits to attend dance classes.
This power couple undoubtedly need strong bones to keep up with the demands of their jobs. With Del Monte Bone Smart, it’s easier and more enjoyable for them to get enough calcium every day.
