In its continuing effort to represent French culture and elegance across the world, the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Hotel formally opened the "BB Forever - Brigitte Bardot, la légende" exhibition on July 30, at the in-house Le Bar.

General manager Adam Laker says that the travelling exhibition "reflects three pillars of French elegance—design and innovation, gastronomy and wine, and culture and events."

To honor the iconic French fashion model and actress, Filipino designer Albert Andrada created 21-piece, St. Tropez-inspired collection emulating Bardot's charisma and timeless style.

The glamorous gowns were made with lush French laces, luminous printed tafetta, textured jerseys, and tulle with Swarovski components.

The models, which included beauty queen Gwendoline Ruais—a half-French beauty herself—were all styled by Philippe Tordjman for hair, and Lancôme for Brigitte Bardot's iconic smokey eye makeup.

Meanwhile, guests at the launch were treated to a sumptuous French delicacies whipped up by executive chef Eric Costille and his team.
