"I really don't know. It can be a week, it can be a month or whatever. Babalik ako, promise. Thank you so much and be happy for me," replies Mariel Rodriguez when asked when she will return from her vacation in India.

Mariel Rodriguez followed rumored boyfriend and Pilipinas Win na Win! co-host Robin Padilla to India after she filed an "indefinite leave" from the ABS-CBN aftrenoon show.

Robin had announced previously that he was taking a break from hosting ABS-CBN's new noontime show to observe the Islamic month of Ramadan in India. (CLICK HERE to read related article.)

In an interview with SNN before boarding her flight last Tuesday, August 17, Mariel said: "I'm going away, magbabakasyon. I'm going to India. I'm going wherever kung saan man ako dadalhin ng paa ko."

The 26-year-old TV host is not sure when she will return to Pilipinas Win na Win!, but she promised not to leave her job.

"Hindi ko alam. I really don't know. It can be a week, it can be a month or whatever. Babalik ako, promise. Thank you so much and be happy for me," she said.

Mariel left the country in the midst of a controversy involving Robin Padilla. His former wife Liezl Sicangco said he hasn't been spending enough time with their 10-year-old son Ali and wants the child to be returned to her care. (CLICK HERE to read related article.)

The Buzz host said, "Ayokong magsinungaling na siya'y nagpapahinga lamang. She is not pregnant, nor is she getting married."

Boy also mentioned that before Mariel left the country, she did a tell-all interview with close friend Bianca Gonzalez for Entertainment Live!, which will be aired on August 21, Saturday.
