Luis Manzano (right) believes that to stay fit, moderation is the key. Pauleen Luna, however, says that during the holidays, she eats everything she wants and then burns the calories with workouts.

We all just went through the holiday-binge season. With the lechon, hamon, and other delicious dishes served during the Noche Buena and Media Noche—most of us probably gained weight.

But seeing the celebrities—who admit to having pig-out sessions as well—looking so slim and fit on television, we wonder: How'd they do that?

A few of them are plain lucky for having good genes, but some attribute their fit bods to discipline.

Let's hear their tips on how to get rid of that extra fat:

1. The best way, of course, is to moderate your eating habits.

Luis Manzano: "I try my best to control food intake."

JC Tiuseco: "I don't really eat that plenty even with all the great food."

Princess Violago: "Although there is too much to eat during the Holidays—with all the presents at mga handa sa bahay—I make sure that I just have a small piece of everything para lang matikman ko lahat ng pagkain and satisfy what I crave for, di ba."

Daiana Menezes: "If I eat a lot one day like Noche Buena, I eat less on the next day."

Mocha Uson of Mocha: "I gained weight during the holidays. I guess we all did. I will cut down the rice and eat more veggies. No more lechon till next Christmas!"

2. Those who can't say no to what's on the table, sizzle the calories away!

Daiana Menezes: "I try to keep myself busy, so I won't eat a lot. I go to different many places, or in case you're in the beach, like I was in Bora this last Christmas, try to walk in the beach so you exercise ng konti."

Princess Violago: "Pag sobrang busog naman ako sa gabi, hindi ako natutulog agad. I walk around the house muna or walk on the treadmill with my slippers while watching TV. Medyo weird pero true."

Luis Manzano: "I also try to sneak a workout or two, even just at home with an exercise DVD."

Ciara Sotto: "I can't go to the gym kasi nabo-bore ako, so, I'm super into yoga...I go dancing and train for pole dancing."

Pauleen Luna: "This is the season where I really don't control myself from eating. I eat everything that I want. I eat much until the 25th, then I start working out and diet on the 26th, then cheat day na lang ang January 1."

Again, to stay slim—eat less and/or exercise a lot!
