We verified this recent sighting of the couple and found out from one of the salon's regular customers that they had a "haircut and blowdry." The "witness" also related that the two beauty doctors looked "parang sweet," and added: "Nakaakbay si Hayden kay Vicki."
The description got us confused.
In the most recent interview of Dra. Vicki Belo with Lhar Santiago of 24 Oras, she stressed: "Hayden and I are just friends, and that's all we are."
But how explain their very chummy moments at Emphasis?
PEP asked around and a source, who is part of Dra. Vicki's circle, seconded the beauty doctor's statement: "Ang alam ko, hindi nga sila nagkakabalikan."
But Hayden, according to the source, seems undeterred by Vicki's statements about them being just friends.
After talks about their publicized breakup cooled down, Hayden has been persistently wooing his "mahal."
Hayden's efforts did not escape people's eyes as he was supposedly seen near the premises of the famous cosmetic surgeon's clinic at The Medical Plaza in Makati.
Remember that couple-spotting news about the two former lovebirds in Glendale, California? Dra. Vicki refuted it, saying she stayed in Beverly Hills.
But the source told PEP, "Sinundan siya nung guy dun. Matagal nang naka-set ang trip na yun, kasi magiging speaker si Vicki sa conference na yun. 'Tapos nagulat na lang si Vicki kasi, dumating nga si guy."
But what are the chances of them getting back together?
The people around Vicki could only say, "Vicki is very nice and sweet." And they're one in saying that it's hard to tell whether she's just being her usual self to Hayden or she's considering a second chance for her ex-beau.
One sure thing about this issue: Hayden has been trying hard to win his "princess" back.
