Ellen Adarna shared a photo on Instagram featuring her celebrity friend Beauty Gonzalez on Friday, December 13, 2024.
In the snapshot, Beauty is seen lying down with her head resting on the lap of Ellen, who is sitting comfortably on the couch.
Both smiled warmly at the camera, capturing a candid moment of their bond.
Beauty shared the same photo with the caption, “Quality over quantity every time, dear.”
WHAT HAPPENED DURING BEAUTY AND ELLEN'S REUNION
The next day, Saturday, PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) had a chance to talk to Beauty at the presscon of Walang Matigas na Pulis sa Matinik na Misis Season 3.
The Kapuso TV sitcom stars Beauty and Senator Bong Revilla.
In the interview, Beauty told PEP that her recent meeting with Ellen had been a year in the making.
“Honestly, hindi ko siya nakita the whole time na buntis siya, nung nanganak siya,” Beauty said.
Ellen gave birth to a baby girl in October 2024. She named her daughter with husband Derek Ramsay, Liana.
“Dinalaw ko siya. Nothing’s changed. Ganoon naman ang magkaibigan, e. Puro lang kami tawa nang tawa kahapon [December 13].
“We were just talking the whole year na hindi kami nagkita.
“I told her I’m sorry I didn’t get to visit her during her pregnancy ‘coz I was so busy with work.
“And, di ba, there was a time when everybody got sick. I don’t wanna be the reason na may dalang virus.”
Beauty went on to say that both of them got to talk about their kids.
“It’s so nice kasi we are here in a stage in our lives [as moms]. She has a boy. I have a girl. And she has a new girl. She’s living the mommy life,” added Beauty.
Ellen’s eldest is Elias, her six-year-old son with former boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz.
Beauty’s eight-year-old daughter with husband Norman Crisologo, an art curator, is named Olivia.
On being moms, Beauty continued, “Very happy. Having a child in your house, nakakatuwa talaga, di ba? Parang nakakabuhay sa bahay.”
BEAUTY ON FRIENDSHIP WITH ELLEN
Beauty and Ellen share many things in common—being Bisaya among them—making it no surprise that they quickly bonded.
“Nag-click lang talaga kami. As in we’re really click. Ang totoong friends talaga, si Norman and si Ellen.
"Norman met Ellen when she was 16, modeling days pa.
“And I met my husband through Ellen. So that’s how close we are.”

During the entire year they were apart, Beauty revealed that she and Ellen had not spoken to each other either.
Beauty's reason was, “Ayoko ng calls. Mas gusto ko yung personal. And I hate calls. I hate talking [over] the phone for so long. I hate texting…”
But the lack of communication never became an issue for both of them.
“We don’t talk, which I appreciate,” interjected Beauty. “Kasi ayoko ng clingy na kaibigan.”
Then when she finally visited Ellen, the two only needed a couple of hours to make up for the lost time.
“We had a lot of catching up, pero we don’t need like five hours or 10 hours mag-catch up,” explained Beauty.
“Okay na kami sa two hours.”
Beauty added further, “Ayoko naman six hours paulit-ulit lang yung kuwento, di ba? Ok na yung two hours na kuwento.
“But we’re friends. We’ve got each other’s back.
