Kapuso leading men ruled the red carpet at the GMA Thanksgiving Gala held at the the Grand Ballroom of Shangri-la BGC, Taguig City, Saturday night, July 30, 2022.
Amid the raging typhoon that left the city drenched all day, these bankable onscreen heroes stirred up their own storm at the Shang as they flexed their picture-perfect poses at the Kapuso charity event.
Flaunting their dapper suits, these dashing gentleman lived up to their leading-man personas, sending their online fans and followers into a clicking frenzy.
ALDEN RICHARDS
The Kapuso primetime actor looked drool-worthy in his bow-tie and tux combo that highlighted his leaner physique and slimmer profile.
Reaping the rewards of his active lifestyle, Alden swears by his tried-and-tested fitness/diet regimen, which he follows religiously despite his hectic showbiz sked. He will soon star opposite Bea Alonzo for the PH version of the Koreanovela Start-Up.
DINGDONG DANTES
Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes shares the red carpet with his better half, GMA Primetime Queen Marian Rivera. Dingdong—in his white suit and cool semi-tinted specs—looks every bit the leading man with his wife beside him.
JOHN LOYD CRUZ
Showbiz A-lister John Lloyd Cruz sports a different look at the #GMAGalaNight with his luscious tan and close-cropped brown hair.
Going solo is never a problem for the prized Kapuso artist, who shared his red-carpet moment with Miles Ocampo, Maja Salvador, and other friends and colleagues from Crown Artist Management stable.

Viva talent Xian Lim looked dapper in his bedazzled custom suit. He was styled by Ton Lao for the event. His grooming was courtesy of Peps Silvestre.
GABBY CONCEPCION
This former matinee idol, now 57, remains the baby-faced dashing debonair with his hunky mien, which made female viewers fall in love with him again in the recently concluded Kapuso teleserye First Yaya and its sequel, First Lady.
RICHARD YAP
A prime candidate in the league of extraordinary gentlemen is Richard Yap, who at 55 remains irresistible thanks to his boyish charms. The self-confessed entrepreneur often exudes a low-key persona offscreen, making him more mysteriously attractive to his followers. At the ball, Richard's chinito looks stood out in his black suit.
JAK ROBERTO
The 28-year-old Kapuso leading man looks very charming in his dark suit. What’s more, he goes first on the red carpet, followed by his girlfriend Barbie Forteza. After Barbie has enjoyed her spotlight moment, Jak joins her and get their photos taken. How sweet!
ALBERT MARTINEZ
At 61, Albert may have been the most senior among his cohorts at the Kapuso gala. But just like fine wine, the versatile and award-winning actor, director, and producer proves that he gets better with age. Even with his salt-and-pepper hair, Albert exudes a youthful look thanks to his flawless skin and killer smile.
KEN CHAN
Kapuso actor Ken Chan looks every bit the nice guy with his white suit and black bow tie. His gentle demeanor adds to his appeal on the red carpet.
GMA Network organized the gala night to celebrate the network's 72nd anniversary.
The gala night also doubled as a fund-raising event for the Kapuso Foundation's classroom reconstruction projects. One of the beneficiaries is the Typhoon Odette-stricken Magallanes Elementary School on Limasawa Island in Leyte.
